"Poor Communication and Unfriendly Service"
I placed an order for a swaddle for my little one through PayPal. The next day, I got a notification from PayPal saying a refund was issued. I didn’t hear a peep from baby-central, even after I shot them an email. I had to give them a ring, and the person on the line told me the item was out of stock and I could reorder it in a week when it’s supposed to be available again. I asked if I could pay the original price, but they flat out said no, insisting I had to pay the full price since it’s no longer on sale. This company really isn’t customer-friendly, and I’m left wondering if this is even legal under the consumer rights act.

"Fantastic shopping experience"
I had a fantastic shopping experience. I chose to send back an item since I didn't need it anymore, and they gave me a full refund (including shipping) even though I forgot to put the refund form in the box. The customer service rep (Katie) was super helpful and got back to me in no time.

"My initial order was unexpectedly cancelled..."
I made my first purchase, but they went ahead and cancelled it without giving any reason. I just received a refund notification, even though the items I wanted are still available. It would be great if they could at least let customers know why an order gets cancelled. I won't be shopping here again.

"Terrible Experience with This Brand"
I had a really bad experience with this company. Thought I was scoring a great deal on a bunch of Dr. Brown's bottles and a steriliser. I followed all the guidelines, even spent a ridiculous amount on bottled water to prevent the heating plate from burning. But guess what? The heating plate burned anyway. To make matters worse, the steriliser started giving me electric shocks (and let me tell you, they hurt!). I called them up, and they said a courier would come the next day to check it out. The courier showed up, but they forgot to send me a returns label. Luckily, the courier was kind enough to say he’d swing back later that day so I wouldn’t be left without a way to sterilise my baby's bottles. I called Baby Central again, and finally, they sent out the returns label. A couple of days later, I got a call saying there was nothing wrong with the steriliser (the same one that was burning and shocking me). They told me to soak the plate in a mix of white vinegar and water for cleaning and warned against using any limescale remover or steriliser fluid. Seriously, where does it say that in the instructions? Then they said they’d send it back to me!

When I got the steriliser back, I did what they suggested with the vinegar, and sure, it cleaned it up, but as soon as I turned it on, I got ANOTHER electric shock. I called the company again, and they promised I’d get a callback from the woman handling my case, but did I hear back? Of course not. Honestly, I just gave up on them.

Today, I was shocked again when I tried to sterilise my bottles and a burning smell filled my kitchen. I saw smoke coming from the bottom of the steriliser, and I hadn’t even started a cycle! Thank goodness I caught the smell in time and unplugged it. I’ve tried calling, but they’re closed for the next four days.

Now I’m stuck having to shell out more money for a new steriliser. And let’s not forget about the leaky bottles! The quality is just awful, and the customer service is a joke! I will NEVER buy from this company again!
